Loyal followers of the actress are calling for that a man who jumped a barricade and touched the actress during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared video reveals the individual from Australia bypassing media personnel and charging at Grande while the actors walked down a yellow carpet accompanied by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being removed of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "let go after being arrested", though legal records indicated that he was set to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Pattern of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Notorious Troublemaker", has invaded a performance. His Instagram feed features recordings of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney show in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last year.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is evidently a punishable act," commented an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" one Instagram user remarked.

Followers Voice Worry Over Ariana's Safety

Many supporters criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the end of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and harming many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said a further response on Instagram.

A number of fans also criticised security officers at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals demanded online networks to block Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande looked surprised when she was approached by the individual. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the premiere activities carried on uninterrupted.

Many of fans had gathered in a mass of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international premiere in a Singapore mall, including several who had queued for as long as many hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on November 21, is the follow-up of a two-film adaptation of the well-known stage production Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two contrasting sorceresses.

The show itself is a spin-off of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was dressed in a rosé sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who portrays the Elphaba, wore a black tube gown featuring roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful film of last year in the UK, and earned a dozen award recognitions, securing several for best costume and artistic direction.
