Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Died in a Los Angeles Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, who helped create the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has died in a vehicle crash in Los Angeles, California at the age of 55.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.
The renowned game designer died after his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a highway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"This represents a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
